Bills (placeholder)

This is a placeholder feature/design note.

This page/view will focus on parliamentary bills. It supports search of bills and provides access to all parliamentary debates related to a particular bill, something not currently available on the official Hansard website.

However it's feasible to reconstruct these relationships by parsing out some details from the XML and constructing appropriate tables which can be used for search features.

The bills page here would be search interface for bills, which would allow you to search for bills by name, and then see a list of debates which are about that bill, and export retrieve the speech transcripts in a similar search page.

When viewing discussions via the standard search interface, bills would be hyperlinked to appropriate bill-view pages.
